The Ally Coalition works with members of the music, fashion, and entertainment worlds to raise awareness and funds in support of LGBTQ equality. Our goal is to encourage our fellow artists and fans to use their voices and influence to end discrimination against LGBTQ people.
We are seeking 1 highly skilled and self-motivated intern to help us launch a Crowdrise campaign culminating in an online performance with one of our artists. Our ideal candidate will assist in managing all communications surrounding the show. Therefore, we are looking for a person with strong interest and ability to manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously, interest or experience in event production, proficiency with online fundraising campaigns, and a commitment to advocating for LGBTQ rights.
This is a part-time unpaid 4 week program, running from 10/12 through 11/6, with an option to stay involved on the TAC team and help with more upcoming events. You will be an integral part of a small group working from Boston, MA. You can apply to this position remotely, but preference will be given to applicants that are local. You will be taking lead and also assisting in:
– Crafting Media Messaging
– Fundraising Strategy and Analytics
– Show Logistics (Production)
– Fan Interaction
We’re looking for an intern that is available for 1-2 hours each day (M-F) online, with a check in 1-2 times per week depending on your schedule. We are available and interested in working with your school program to help you attain college credit for your work, if applicable.
