TAC takes action for lgbtq equality

7th Annual Talent Show

We Raised over $350,000 for lgbtq youth

On December 21st, The Ally Coalition hosted the Seventh Annual Talent Show virtually for the first time, live exclusively on Twitch.

Hosted by Rachel Antonoff, we are so fortunate to have the support of the amazing artists who came together to fight for LGBTQ rights! This year’s event featured performances from musicians Bleachers, St Vincent, Lana Del Rey, Hayley Williams, and more, with comedians like Mike Birbiglia, Aidy Bryant, The Lucas Bros, and chefs Rachael Ray and Alex Hong.

We hope to see you all in person next year! Thank you to who tuned in and to all the organizations providing critical services supporting LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness.

Thank you to the Recording Academy / GRAMMYsGRAMMY Museum and GLAAD for letting us be a part of their panel on Tuesday, Jan 21st.

Thank you Carlie HansonCarlos VaraLauren JaureguiCHIKA and Justin Tranter for being the featured LGBTQ+ artists on the panel. They came together to discuss how their queer identities shaped their creative work and how they use their social platforms to foster LGBTQ+ community, activism, and ally-ship.

Thank you to the bright students at Blair High School who came to learn from our experienced artists. Together with Glaad, they discussed LGBTQ+ media training and their individual power to advocate for LGBTQ+ issues online.

A special thanks to Justin D. Joseph from the Recording Academy, and Anthony Ramos from Glaad for helping us host and curate the panel.
