On December 12th, The Ally Coalition hosted the Sixth Annual Talent Show! This is a night that channels the power of music and comedy toward equality.
We raised $230,000 for LGBTQ folks!
We are so fortunate to have the support of the amazing artists who came out in support of LGBTQ rights! We hope to continue our tradition of banding together to directly benefit organizations serving queer and trans youth. Thank you to our partners New Alternatives for LGBTQ Youth in New York City & The Door NYC for joining us on this special day!
This year’s event featured performances from musicians Andrew Dost, Bleachers, Dixie Chicks, Jason Isbell, with comedians Chris Laker, Jacqueline Novac, Mike Birbiglia, and Roy Wood Jr. Our featured surprise guests were Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Dev Hynes of Blood Orange and Carly Rae Jepsen!
Talent Show receives promotional support from The Bowery Presents and is curated by The Ally Coalition co-founder and Grammy Award-Winning Artist, Jack Antonoff. Past performers have included Taylor Swift, Hayley Kiyoko, Lana Del Rey, The National, Lorde, Charli XCX, Sara Bareilles, Kacey Musgraves, Spoon, Shamir, amongst others.
