Comedy for Equality, a special benefit concert for The Ally Coalition, will take place on June 11th, 2015 at The Howard Theatre as part of the 40th Annual Capital Pride Celebration.

UNCIVIL UNION will bring together the artistic community to raise awareness and funds to end discrimination against LGBTQ people. Headlined by W. Kamau Bell, Bridget Everett, Rachel Dratch, Chelsea Shorte, and a host of special guests, the Capital Pride event will feature stand-up comedy, music, special guests and opportunities for fans to engage in this important cause.

Proceeds from this show will go to support programming for SMYAL, a DC-based LGBTQ organization which creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to build self-confidence, develop critical life skills, and engage their peers and community through service and advocacy. For more info, visit: smyal.org
